March 21st—April 19th
You, Aries, are the first sign of the zodiac, the first fire sign, and the first sign of spring. Notice a theme? You like to be first in all that you do! Competitive? Yes. Impatient? Yes. Wee-bit self-involved? Yes. You’re also courageous, a true leader and willing to fight for what you believe in. I bet you were voted: “Most likely to succeed” in high school.
Your presence has impact. When you walk into a room, people take notice. No wallflower, you! You carry a powerful energy, one of authority, and as a result, people often look up to you. Indeed, you thrive in situations where you can take charge and lead “the troops” forward. This is a gift, and when in balance, can inspire individuals to greater possibilities. You’re in-tune with what’s new and happening, a pioneer, always seeking new discoveries and opportunities to grow.
You-oh-so-fiery-one, struggle with letting go of control and being in charge. A part of your karma is learning the delicate balance of give and take, the dance of relationship and compromise. Knowing when to push forward, and when to step back and let others take the reign. Rams don’t receive easily, and you dislike being vulnerable. Yet, vulnerability is the key to your heart and intimacy. There can be great strength in vulnerability, and this is your secret to finding true love.
Favorite activity--besides conquering the world--being physical! Running, kickboxing, martial arts, strength-training, yoga, whatever lights your fire. Being physically active is second nature to you, and greatly helps you to move energy. You could say that being physical is your (moving) meditation, a way you connect into your source.
At the end of the day, you are happiest discovering new opportunities, putting yourself out-there, taking chances and creating the world you want to live in. And if there’s a lovely partner who embraces your independence….you’re more than happy to dive in!
Sunny Side: Brave, leader, risk-taker, growth-orientated, honest, authentic.
Shadow Side: Impulsive, reactionary, commitment-phobic, dictatorial, aggressive, self-involved.
