The Star of Inspiration!

Tarot Tuesday! It’s The Star Card, representing: Inspiration, creativity, clear vision and destiny!

The Star Card shines this week, a bright and welcome light! This card illuminates your creative potential, encourages you to overcome obstacles and think and dream big! The poem I associate with this card is the sublime “Star Dust” by Langston Hughes:

“Gather out of Star-dust, Earth-dust, Cloud-dust, Storm-dust,

And Splinters of hail, One handful of dream-dust,

Not for sale.”

The power of The Star lies in its ability to inspire greatness, not only in ourselves, but others as well. It represents creative brilliance, the ego and the personality elevated. Stars are generous with their light! They are leaders and motivators. This card encourages us to transcend our limitations and connect to a higher purpose and vision.

Here’s the divination:

You are creating your future now. This is a time to expand your vision, and open yourself to a whole new realm of possibilities. Think big! You are only limited by the bounds of your imagination. What inspires you? What is your dearest wish, your dream?

Trust your vision even if you’re not sure where it will take you. Be willing to experiment with all possibilities. Don’t worry if others don’t understand; you may be ahead of your time. Radiate confidence. Think of yourself as a pioneer, a shinning light for others to follow. This could prove to be an exceptionally creative period. Dance fearlessly with your muses and let them guide you to manifesting what can be!

The artwork for this card is by Royce Richardson, from a Tarot deck we explored creating together. He framed The Star and gave it to me as a Christmas present; it’s hanging on my office wall–a source of inspiration! Royce is an amazing designer, artist and spiritual practitioner.
