Ace of Swords ~ Seize the Day!

IMG_7943.jpg

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Ace of Swords, representing: Clarity, divine truth, inspiration, destiny and breakthroughs. Throughout the ages, the sword has been a symbol of divine strength. Think of mythology’s young King Arthur, who drew the magical sword Excalibur from the stone and took his rightful throne. The Ace of Swords indicates a time to seize your power! This is a destiny moment, one that comes from your own making.

This requires you to focus the might of your mind and will towards what you want to manifest, without distraction. The Ace of Swords is often called the “Ace of Truth”, as it cuts away anything that is not in alignment with your higher truth. There are no gray areas here. Gather your courage, and stand for what you know to be right and true. If others don’t understand, this is not your concern. Let go of negative thinking and focus on the new clarity that is at hand. Seize the day!

Wishing you a powerful week!

The Moon ~ Time to Go Inward

IMG_7602 2.jpg

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is The Moon, representing: Dreams, reflections, imagination and mystery. I thought The Moon card was perfect for today’s New Moon/Solar eclipse in Cancer. I love to explore new decks, and this Moon card is from the Moonchild Tarot, by Danielle Noel. A beautiful and thought provoking deck. Here’s her definition:

“As one of the dreamiest, most mysterious cards of the Tarot, The Moon invites us to explore the depths of our subconscious and the sacred landscape of our imagination. Although typically described as a key of disillusionment, it is not with its silver lining. These can indicate the powerful sparks of inspiration that feed invention, creativity, and intuitive wisdom which connects us to a much deeper place of spirit.

Since The Moon also reveals the watery undercurrent of our shadow thoughts and feelings, it embodies the recesses of our minds, which we tend to keep hidden from others, as well as deeper insecurities that plague our emotions. Woven throughout the potent energy of The Moon is pure magick. If we learn to harness its wisdom without letting the mental labyrinth take over, we may begin to co-create and alchemize from the seeds of our thoughts.”

The Page of Swords ~ Follow Your Inspiration!

IMG_7461 2.jpg

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Page of Swords, representing: Clarity, breakthroughs, inspiration, curiosity and rebellion. The Page of Swords is associated with the season of summer. It is often in the summer months where we feel the most free, open to new inspirations and possibilities, separate from the routines of daily life. The Page of Swords brings a new perspective, an awakening to a higher clarity. She is a liberator of the mind, freeing you from old ways of thinking and being.

This ever-curious Page is ready to shake things up! She is a rebel and signals a time when you are breaking-free of old limitations, especially intellectually and how you view the world. She can be brash, outspoken and arrogant, but like all Pages, she carries a youthful energy, and the innocence to believe in greater possibilities.  Her message to you is: Follow your inspiration, no matter what others think!

Wishing you an inspired week!

The Moon ~ Bringing Light to the Darkness

IMG_E7369.jpg

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Moon, representing: Darkness, reflection, mystery, unresolved emotions and illumination. The Moon is a compelling presence; she is as old as time, a seductress, bewitching us with her shadowy light. Lady Luna often casts illusions, asking us to consider: What is real and what is not? This is a time when unresolved emotions and fears may be clouding your mind, distracting you from what needs to be resolved.

The Moon card asks you to go within, and reflect on the elements of your life that need more illumination. It’s easy to get lost in the darkness, and in this mysterious landscape, you may need guidance to help you find your way. This is magical territory. New clarity comes as you bring light to the deepest reaches of your psyche.

Wishing you an illuminating week!

The Ten of Wands ~ Let Go of Old Baggage!

IMG_7270.jpg

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Ten of Wands, representing: Heaviness, burdens, obstacles and blocked energy. If I were to describe this card in a word, it would be—Baggage! The number ten represents completion. Yet, the Ten of Wands indicates that you are carrying the past forward--like old baggage--feeling that you need to keep working towards some out-lived goal. Holding onto the past is a burden, and ultimately becomes an obstacle to welcoming the new. The end result can be blocked and stagnant energies--emotionally, creativity, spiritually--which can lead to depression, even anger.

Your spirit is too big to be repressed; it seeks freedom! So, if there is anything you need to bring to completion, do so now, with integrity, consciously making amends as needed. Then lay down your burdens, let go and be at peace. Rebirth awaits!

 Wishing you a peaceful week!
