Seven of Coins ~ Diligence Pays Off!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Seven of Coins (Pentacles) representing: Hard work, diligence, long-term success and rewards!

The realm of coins is the material realm, most specifically finances, career, business and family matters. This is not a “get-rich-quick” card, in fact, just the opposite! The 7 of Coins represents a time of hard-work, of long-term planning and keeping a bigger picture and goals in mind. You are building foundations for a successful future, and must be willing to work the “soil”, the seeds of opportunity you have planted.

There will be rewards for your perseverance, but you must stay focused on the tasks at hand and not scatter your energy towards fanciful pursuits. Granted, this can be a frustrating time, with no immediate gratification, but you must be careful about giving into fears of failure, a “what if my seeds don’t bear fruit?” mentality. Beware of naysayers who don’t share your dreams or big picture! This is a moment to believe in yourself, and invest in your future. Here faith combined with hard work will have big pay-offs!

Congratulate yourself on your willingness to walk your walk, and stay true to your path. Although you may not see results yet, know that they will come.

Living Your Dreams ~ Facing Your Fears!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is The Seven of Cups, representing 7 Faces of Desire (Perfect for Valentines Day!): Dreams, emotions, love, lust, fear, futility and illusion!

This card indicates that you have reached a new peak of emotional development, and worlds beyond imagination are opening up. Here we dance with our dreams, yet at the same time, must face our fears in the process.

Desire can be a tricky business, both wonderful and scary! Sometimes there’s a fine line between imagination and illusion, lust and love. Here we aspire to discern what’s real and tangible, and what’s not. Ultimately, how to best use our emotional energy to achieve what we truly desire, especially in regards to relationships.  

In the best sense, this card indicates celebrating the "Cups more full", and discarding the one’s lacking deeper fulfillment.
