TarotTuesday The card for the week is the Hermit, representing: Solitude, faith, wisdom and the inner-journey. The Hermit is the archetype of an “Old Soul”. He is a loner, traveling through the forest at twilight; that magical time when the veils between worlds, light and dark, are most transparent. His presence calls us to embark upon a solitary, yet profound journey of self-discovery.
Ruled by Virgo, the Hermit is a wisdom seeker. The road to wisdom can be a difficult path, for true wisdom comes from the hard lessons and experience of time. When the Hermit comes your way, it denotes a period of searching and questioning, especially in regards to your purpose in life.
This a time to seek solitude. To go within and connect to your own inner wisdom. You may feel the need to disconnect from the outer world, in order to focus on your inner journey.
The shadow side of the Hermit is isolation. The Hermit is a reminder that guides and teachers are all around us. You may be inspired you to seek guidance from other wise masters: trusted teachers, new learning situations, angels, spirit guides, or that wise friend who appears when you need them the most.
Wishing you a profound week of inner illumination!
