If I was to define this card in just one word, that word would be: Love. Simple, pure and true.

The Two of cups indicates a time where your heart is to open to deep and rewarding emotional exchanges; a giving and receiving of love in equal measure. It is rare when we find another who we feel we can share our deepest selves with: honestly, openly, without artifice. This is a blessing and a gift.

Know it is your very willingness to receive this gift, that has attracted love to you! If you’re feeling “this is too good to be true,” then you are only doubting yourself. No one knows what the future holds, but this is a moment to celebrate and embrace the love coming to you.

After the dark clouds of the last few weeks, this card is a needed breath of fresh air, indicating that, Yes!-- Love is in the air! Perfect for this Thanksgiving week, a time to share joy and love with those nearest and dearest to our hearts.

The Two Cups aligns with the tried and true axiom: If you love yourself, you are more attractive to others. This is a time where your receptiveness towards yourself, prepares you to give yourself totally to someone else. This card indicates that deep emotional exchanges are now possible, a giving and receiving of unconditional love.

The focus is on both giving and receiving. For many of us, giving is the easy part! Receiving, on the other hand, can make us feel vulnerable and uneasy. The beauty of the card is that it says your foundations and self-esteem are strong enough to receive. Here we embrace the idea that vulnerability does not equal weakness, in fact just the opposite. Opening our hearts to truly receive, is in itself, a great act of strength and courage!
