I received my first deck of Tarot cards when I was 14 years old. From the moment I saw that deck of cards, I was mesmerized; this was beginning of my lifelong adventure into the realm of magic, mysticism, archetypes and spiritual consciousness.
After graduating from Washington State University with a BA in Communications, I began a career in advertising, climbing the corporate ladder to become a successful Account Executive with a large Seattle advertising agency. I soon realized that corporate life was not for me, and took a major leap of faith -deciding to change directions, leave my former career and pursue my innate gifts and growing love of the spiritual arts.
It was at this time I began to actively study the Tarot, astrology, mysticism and the psychic realm. I come from a lineage of Scottish women, on my father’s side, who share the gift of “second sight” or what I now know to be clairvoyance. The more I embraced my spiritual lineage, the more I realized my life calling was to help others understand their lives from a greater spiritual perspective.
Throughout the years, I have worked with many teachers, mentors and spiritual masters. Most notably studying with Jeffery Wolf Green, founder of The School of Evolutionary Astrology, and closely following the works of astrologers Steven Forrest, Liz Greene, Howard Sasportas, and the late Dane Rudhyar.
An active student of yoga, I incorporate yogic philosophy, along with my love of Buddhist and Hindu teachings into my work. I also work inner-dimensionally with the spiritual master Paramahansa Yogananda, the archangels, and higher guides.
I have had the pleasure of writing celebrity profiles and a weekly astrology column for ABCNews.com and have given numerous television and radio interviews. In addition, I am a regular guest-host on Conscious Talk Radio interviewing nationally-known authors, politicians, and spiritualists on a wide range of topics impacting life in the 21st century. I am also the author of several books on the Tarot and astrology.
I live in the Seattle area with my darling doggie Sophie Marie.
