Hare ~ The Shapeshifter

Tarot Tuesday! This week, we’re exploring a different oracle, the Druid Animal Oracles Cards, one of my favorite decks. I choose the Hare, representing: Rebirth, intuition, rebirth and balance. “Hare is a creature of the Goddess, the moon and the night, and yet it also represents the dawn, brightness and the east. It is the most adept of animals at shapeshifting; we can never be sure exactly where the hare is—in this or the Otherworld. It represents intuition, which makes things appear suddenly in our consciousness.

The Hare brings the excitement of rebirth, fertile abundance and willing release as each creative cycle comes to an end. With the Hare as your ally, you will be well able to negotiate times of change, and draw on your intuition to guide you through life.”

The Eight of Wands ~ Expand Your Horizons!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Eight of Wands, representing: Expansion, communication, opportunity and confidence. This card is ruled by Sagittarius, the sign of the Archer, and says it’s time to shoot your “arrows” into the world and get your ideas out there. You don’t know where they will land, but what’s important is that you actively share your inspirations.

The Eight Wands offers great momentum in expanding your horizons. Confidence is key, as sharing your expressions may take you outside your comfort zones. This is a: Go Big or Go Home! moment. This card also reminds us that self-expression comes in an array of colors. Just think how boring life would be if we were all the same. Let go of past misunderstandings and see your way into a bigger picture. One that is inclusive and universal. Then, communicate your vision with vigor!

The Three of Coins ~ Honing Your Craft!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Three of Coins, representing: Diligence, goals, collaboration and craftsmanship. The Three of Coins indicates a time of hard work, as you seek to realize your greater goals. Know that the time spent now honing your craft will lead to future success. Diligence is key, as is a patient attitude. As with creating any masterpiece, it starts with chisel to stone, pen to paper, and some love, sweat and tears!

This is a time when you may be developing your skills in a collaborative setting. Be open to working with others, especially those who can help you to grow your talents. This is an exceptionally creative time. Do not put pressure on yourself, or look for perfection. It’s all about the learning, the crafting, and the growth.

Ace of Swords ~ Seize the Day!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Ace of Swords, representing: Clarity, divine truth, inspiration, destiny and breakthroughs. Throughout the ages, the sword has been a symbol of divine strength. Think of mythology’s young King Arthur, who drew the magical sword Excalibur from the stone and took his rightful throne. The Ace of Swords indicates a time to seize your power! This is a destiny moment, one that comes from your own making.  

This requires you to focus the might of your mind and will towards what you want to manifest, without distraction. The Ace of Swords is often called the “Ace of Truth”, as it cuts away anything that is not in alignment with your higher truth. There are no gray areas here. Gather your courage, and stand for what you know to be right and true. If others don’t understand, this is not your concern. Let go of negative thinking and focus on the new clarity that is at hand. Seize the day!
