The Five of Coins ~ Change = Abundance!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Five of Coins, representing, change, loss, poverty-mentality and perspective. The Five of Coins points to a fragile moment, as you are on the cusp of change. It could feel like everything is falling apart and that good fortune is unattainable. As hard as it may be, you need to allow for some things to go, to break apart, in order to make way for new abundance.

Be careful about getting caught in a fear based or victim mentality. Don’t let pessimism keep you idle, instead bring your attention to practical matters. A hopeful perspective could tip the balance. Remember, when the Universe closes a door, it also opens a window. You are an abundant manifestation just waiting to happen!

Wishing you an abundantly productive week!

The Devil ~ Make Friends with Your Shadow Side!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Devil, representing: Fear, control, power-struggles, creativity and transmutation. The Devil presents both a sexy and frightening image. As it should be, for this card represents an awakening to your shadow side—your cardinal desires, deepest longings and most basic instincts. This is powerful, creative medicine! Yet, like poisonous snake bite, your desires can either “kill” you, enslaving you to your obsessions and fear-based behaviors, or bring healing as you learn to transmute these energies in a healthy way.

The Devil card has nothing to do with evil, rather it is calling you to explore the parts of yourself that bring fear or make you feel out-of-control. By doing so, you can reclaim your power. Ultimately, the Devil encourages you to make friends with your demons and bring them into the light of self-acceptance!

The Two of Wands ~ Divine Right Timing

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Two of Wands, representing: Fortification, centeredness, strength and Divine timing. The Two of Wands indicates that your inner fire, your passions and creativity, have been ignited bringing great energy and momentum. Now they need to be focused and stabilized. An analogy is the art of forging iron, the process of shaping and strengthening metal through the heat of flame. This takes time and careful attention.

You may feel the impulse to conquer new horizons, but here the warrior becomes king, as you choose to harness your creative powers for another day. This is self-mastery. You are preparing and fortifying yourself for what is ahead. It’s important now to center yourself, and find balance. Embrace Divine right timing, knowing that spirit will prompt you when it’s time to act. Then when the time is right, you will be ready to go forward with solid foundations that greatly serve your endeavors.

Wishing you a powerful and centered week!

The King of Swords ~ Finding the Truth

King of Swords

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the King of Swords, representing: Wisdom, clarity and truth. This King of Swords comes in the form of an owl, the animal totem representing wisdom and the ability to see through illusion to find the truth. He indicates a time when your intellectual prowess is heightened, with a desire to master new forms of knowledge.

Wisdom is more than knowledge however, it comes from the ability to examine the facts and come to an expanded understanding. In the best sense, this King knows how to balance his intuition—his deeper knowing--with his intellect. He offers perspective and clarity to your journey. Let him guide you to mastering your real truth.

Wishing you a week of true clarity!

Hare ~ The Shapeshifter

Tarot Tuesday! This week, we’re exploring a different oracle, the Druid Animal Oracles Cards, one of my favorite decks. I choose the Hare, representing: Rebirth, intuition, rebirth and balance. “Hare is a creature of the Goddess, the moon and the night, and yet it also represents the dawn, brightness and the east. It is the most adept of animals at shapeshifting; we can never be sure exactly where the hare is—in this or the Otherworld. It represents intuition, which makes things appear suddenly in our consciousness.

The Hare brings the excitement of rebirth, fertile abundance and willing release as each creative cycle comes to an end. With the Hare as your ally, you will be well able to negotiate times of change, and draw on your intuition to guide you through life.”

Wishing you a week of balanced change, with the intuitive Hare as your guide!
