Temperance ~ The Art of Balance!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is Temperance, representing: Balance, integration, creativity, learning and alchemy. This card represents a new balance, as you begin to integrate different elements of your life, here symbolized as Silver (the Moon) and Gold (the Sun). When these opposite forces are mixed together, a divine alchemy occurs, transforming them into something completely new—and powerful!

 The Temperance card is associated with the ancient art of alchemy, a symbolic process of turning lead into gold. This is a time to elevate yourself through learning experiences, one’s that appeal to your higher aesthetic. Be creative and willing to experiment with new and different combinations. The angels are watching over you, tempering your experiences, making sure they are aligned with your highest good. In Temperance, learning becomes an art-form in itself.

Temperance ~ Discovering Your Inner Alchemist!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is Temperance, representing: Balance, integration, creativity and transformation!

The Temperance card is often associated with the ancient art of alchemy, the mystical and scientific process of transforming lead into gold! The key word being Transformation. Temperance asks: What elements of your life are out-of-balance, what do you need to transform for a greater life experience?

Ultimately, transformation is both a spiritual and creative process. Spiritual, in the sense that true transformation happens through the engagement and relationship with one’s higher consciousness and spiritual peeps (angels, guides, masters and such).

Creative, in the sense that transformation is an art in itself! This path encourages experimentation, mixing things up, and learning through new and varied experiences. This is a time to integrate the old with the new, the dark with the light, your yin with your yang; embrace adventure, color outside the lines, and create a more colorful and expansive life!

This card very much reminds me of J.K. Rowling's magical Harry Potter series, especially her first book: The Philosopher's Stone, where young Harry began to find his magic, embracing his wizard ways and learning that magic was a process of  integrating the dark with the light, muggle and wizard, and finding his power in the process. A good read (or movie) for the week! 

So, this week embrace the Alchemist within--your inner magician--and reinvent yourself by jumping into the flame of transformation! Remember, life itself is a grand learning experience. And the more open you are, the more wisdom will come!
