The World ~ We Are The World!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is The World, representing: Responsibility, leadership and completion. The World is the “last” card of the deck, and an important one: It represents a moment in time, where we realize that we have the tools we need to create the life we want to live! The World reminds us that we individually create our worlds—big and small. When we grasp this, we become empowered on the highest of levels.

When The World shows up in your life, it is a time to take a stand for what you believe. This may be on a personal level, or in the greater world. The World requires you to take responsibility for your actions; your thoughts, your words, your perspective. As we enter this new world paradigm, a time where are shifting from intellect and reason, to an age of energy and intuition, now more than ever, we need to be the masters of our intentions and thoughts.

The World indicates a time of expansion, especially on the career front. As you become more confident in yourself and your gifts, the natural outcome is that you want to share them with, yes…the world! Don’t hesitate to make your presence known. Expect opportunities to arise that will help to further your career. Be open and more importantly, be proactive. You have the goods—so don’t be shy. Tooting your own horn is encouraged now!

Embrace being a leader, an authority in your chosen milieu, and know that others will learn from your experience and expertise. The stage is set for you to make an impact. Don’t waste it!

The World is Your Oyster!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is, The World, representing: Wholeness, Completion and Success! When writing about this card, I'm often compelled to include the following quote from the Medicine Cards, describing Crow Energy/Medicine, because it so beautifully describes the essence of The World: “Honor the past as your teacher, honor the present as your creation, and honor the future as your inspiration.”

On a symbolic level, The World represents the completion of a journey, and an accumulation of all the lessons we have learned along the way. Now we must “leave home”, our inner exploration and venture into the outer world of form. To take all that we know and translate it into actual experience.

 This card indicates that we have attained the wisdom and the tools necessary to create a reality that reflects our highest and truest selves. Here, the ever-evolving dream of all that we can manifest is finally within our grasp!

 One definition of The World is: Worldly Success! This is a time to be confident about your creations, especially on the career front. The more confident you are, the more success you will find.

Although The World represents a completion, we still have much to learn. Saturn is the ruler of The World, representing the earth’s learning ground, the school of the soul. Saturn can be a hard taskmaster, for it teaches us our limitations. In this card we gain clarity about what we want to achieve in this lifetime, defining our destiny, our very purpose of life--while still being clear about our boundaries.

This week, especially with the Full Moon in Gemini, is a time to expand your worlds—big and small. And to truly become the master of our destinies!

The World is Your Oyster!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is The World, representing: Completion, achievement, reputation, worldly success and travel!

“Honor the past as your teacher, honor the present as your creation, and honor the future as your inspiration.” (Medicine Cards—Crow)

The World represents the completion of a journey, and is a synthesis of all the lessons that we have learned along the way. It indicates a time to “leave home”—our past, comfort zones, and old ways of being—and venture into the greater world and begin to create our future. The World says that you have attained the wisdom and tools necessary to create a reality that reflects your highest and truest self. This is a time where the ever-evolving dream of what can be is finally within your grasp!

Ruled by Saturn—the planet of life lessons and responsibility—The World is a moment in time where we realize that the worlds that we live in are largely our creation, and thus, we are responsible for what we create. This is true empowerment! In a sense, on this path we become “adults”, the masters of our destiny!

The World card is often associated with career and making a name for oneself in the world. Here, we must stand for what we believe in, and build a reputation that other’s can follow and believe in.

The World can also indicate a time to travel, a time to explore new cultures as a way of expanding your horizons.
