Seven of Coins ~ Diligence Pays Off!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Seven of Coins (Pentacles) representing: Hard work, diligence, long-term success and rewards!

The realm of coins is the material realm, most specifically finances, career, business and family matters. This is not a “get-rich-quick” card, in fact, just the opposite! The 7 of Coins represents a time of hard-work, of long-term planning and keeping a bigger picture and goals in mind. You are building foundations for a successful future, and must be willing to work the “soil”, the seeds of opportunity you have planted.

There will be rewards for your perseverance, but you must stay focused on the tasks at hand and not scatter your energy towards fanciful pursuits. Granted, this can be a frustrating time, with no immediate gratification, but you must be careful about giving into fears of failure, a “what if my seeds don’t bear fruit?” mentality. Beware of naysayers who don’t share your dreams or big picture! This is a moment to believe in yourself, and invest in your future. Here faith combined with hard work will have big pay-offs!

Congratulate yourself on your willingness to walk your walk, and stay true to your path. Although you may not see results yet, know that they will come.

The Nine of Coins ~ Generosity = Abundance!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Nine of Coins (Pentacles) representing: Abundance, success, admiration, self-realization, giving and receiving.

The best way for me to describe the energy of this card is through a personal story. You’ve seen my postings about the abundant harvest of plums I’ve had this summer. So, I opened up my yard to anyone who wanted to come and pick the plentiful plums. And low and behold, I had dozens of people come by. Neighbors, friends, family, clients, kids on skateboards, people walking their dogs…with bags and bowls, all enjoying the harvest. And it was so fun to commune and share with everyone. I was totally  having an Earth Goddess moment!

Then, the other day, one of my friends brought me several jars of plum jam that she had made from the purple plums (and some pickles too), and it brought me so much joy! And a deep realization of how abundant generosity can be.

And in the same few days, I was gifted a car by my parents (their old car—but totally sweet and much better than my old one), and I received the most amazing painting from an artist I greatly admire.

So, the Nine of Pentacles asks: How do you define abundance? It can come in worldly success and money—which is always great! or in the simple joy of sharing, of giving and receiving.

The mantra for this card is: The more I give, the more I receive!

Ten of Coins ~ Sharing Your Wealth!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Ten of Coins, representing: Abundance, wellbeing, generosity and inner and outer riches!

The 10 of coins indicates a new sense of success in the material world. It says: Job well done! This is a moment to celebrate your creations and what you have manifested. Your roots, now more firmly established in the “real world”, offers a solid foundation in which to grow and prosper.

This card is a reminder that wealth comes in many ways, not only materially but also spiritually and emotionally! Now is a time to be generous, to share yourself, your gifts and wisdom, your prosperity (in whatever form) with others.

Your sense of wellbeing is contagious! And true success comes from both gratitude and the sharing of your abundance!  

Affirmation: I am internally and externally rich, and enjoy all that I have created. I lovingly share my abundance with others, gratefully and thankfully!
