Three of Cups ~ The Spirit of Giving & Receiving

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is: the Three of Cups, representing: Love, friendship, joy and gratitude! This card is a celebration of the heart, arousing the spirit of play, imagination and eternal friendships. The Three of Cups indicates a time to be open to nurturing old relationships and building new bonds. (An old song from my Girl Scout days comes to mind: “Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, and the older gold.”)

This pic is of three of my besties, my girl tribe: Heather, Kim and Darcy after a recent brunch, and to me, totally captures the essence of this card. Fun. Laughter. Bonding. After our brunch (where they happily indulged me in taking this picture!) I went home and read from one of my favorite Tarot Books:  “Tarot: Mirror of the Soul” and here’s what it said about the 3 of Cups: “The love represented here is of the highest order. It is available to be shared with only a small circle of friends. The three of cups may stand for three important people in your life with whom you can exchange these precious and exquisite feelings with great intimacy.” You have to love the Tarot’s synchronicity!

So this Thanksgiving week, take a joyful page from the Three of Cups, and find time to celebrate with your besties, your tribe. Gratitude is the spirit of giving and receiving with a open and generous heart!

Wishing you a joyful Thanksgiving!

The Three of Cups ~ Joyful Blessings!

Three of Cups

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Three of Cups, representing: Overflowing love, joy, celebration and emotional abundance!

This card is a reminder that love is a precious gift to be cherished. This is a moment to share your joys, your love with those in your life that you feel most close to, knowing that this exchange opens you to intimacy on a highest and most exquisite level.

Here we realize that our cups(s) truly runneth over, offering the perspective that we always have more than enough to meet our needs! The more we are aware of the blessings in our life, the more we attract love and abundance in all that we do.

So, this week celebrate the love, and be present to joy—this is rich territory. Take good care and nurture your relationships, with gratitude for all that they bring to your life.

Don’t make this heavy work, instead, play, dance, be happy, and spontaneous. This path is all about being in the moment and receiving!

Affirmation: Today life gives me everything I need to be happy!

Wishing you an abundant and joyful week!

The Queen of Cups ~ Embrace Your Feminine Mystery!

Tarot Tuesday! The card for the week is the Queen of Cups, representing: Emotional integrity, divine mystery, blossoming love and authentic feelings.

Queen of Cups

The Queen of Cups is completely at home in her watery element—the realm of feelings, emotions, the unconscious and the soul. She openly shares her feelings with others, even if those around her do not always understand her watery depths. She never compromises her emotional integrity and embraces her sensitivities, knowing they are an integral part of her divine beauty!

She is a powerful archetype of the divine feminine, representing the sacred mysteries, the deepest darkest parts of being. (And for you lovely men out there, remember we all have a feminine side!) She is not to be understood intellectually, instead we must feel and sense into her. The Queen of Cups is shrouded in mystery and if we truly wish to comprehend her mystery, we must be willing to dive into the realm of psyche and soul.

This Queen’s path signals a time of emotional rebirth and new beginnings in relationships. The more you are willing to be emotionally and spiritually authentic, the more you will draw to you relationships that serve your highest and deepest being.

Affirmation: I trust my feelings; I celebrate my emotions and sensitivities, knowing they are apart of my divine, sacred beauty.

Wishing you a divinely watery week!
