Magical New Moon in Pisces Wednesday!

Happy New Moon in Pisces! Lady Luna is quite happy in the sign of the Fish, illuminating our deeper feelings and emotions, and highlighting the compassionate and imaginative qualities this sign is known for. What’s even more special about Wednesday’s New Moon is that it is joined by Neptune, Pisces’ ruling planet. Neptune’s influence adds an extra dose of watery energy to the mix, encouraging us to swim deeply in it’s soulful waters.

This New Moon is an excellent time go within and commune with what lies beneath the surface of everyday reality. Meditative activities are especially potent now. The Pisces New Moon brings out our creative and artistic qualities as well, inspiring us to play in the realm of fantasy and imagination. Give yourself permission to write poetry, paint, play and listen to music. Whatever feeds your soul!

During this time, we also have the beginning of the Mercury Retrograde (through March 28th) also in Pisces, again calling us to go within and reflect on how we move (or swim!) through the world. The soulful combination of the Mercury Retrograde and New Moon in Pisces, can sooth and even bring healing to our daily tensions and stresses, as it offers a deeper perspective and new clarity. This magical period brings great meaning to the concept of being “in the world, but not of the world”. Something to ruminate on!

Full Moon in Pisces ~ Embrace Your Magic!

Just past midnight, September 6th, a magical, spellbinding Full Moon in Pisces (at 14 degrees) illuminates our world. Luna joins dream-weaver Neptune, bringing a most romantic and enchanting vibe. This Full Moon reminds me of Cinderella (surely a Pisces!), and the moment she meets her Fairy Godmother, and Bippity Boppity Boo, her cinder rags fall away, transforming into a shimmering gown, and she is ready for the ball.

Like silver moonlight reflected on water, this Full Moon can hypnotize you, and put you in her thrall, or even throw you off course with her magical tricks. Is it true or illusion? Only time will tell. For now, give yourself permission to daydream. To play in the fields of your imagination—the place where all dreams are possible. Become your own Cinderella at the ball!  

Draw of the energy of the Sun in opposite sign Virgo to ground you and keep it real. Alas, all magical coaches turn back into pumpkins, but you may find that the magic of this Full Moon, lives full and alive in your psyche for some time to come.

My natal moon is in Pisces, 14 degrees, and I have transiting Neptune there as well. So, I’m really feeling this Full Moon! On one hand, it’s deeply expansive and creative…on the other, it is like diving into a watery emotional world. So, for now, I’m embracing being both a mermaid and Cinderella, and planning my amazing, shimmering ball gown!!

Pisces New Moon/Solar Eclipse--6:58am (PST) on Sunday!

Pisces loves the opportunity to frolic in its native waters--and brings to life the sea creature in us all!

The New Moon adds a powerful rebirth element to the mix, inviting us to actively release the past, and put our energy into imagining new potentials. Combined with the Solar Eclipse—representing great personal change—this is a time to truly let go of what no longer serves you. With all eclipses, you may feel an immediate hit, but also, eclipse energy can be experienced for a few months after.  That’s why your changes now are so important, they will serve you you in the months to come. . 

Pisces is all loving—a compassionate visionary, but one of the Fishes downfalls is that it tends to look at life through rose-colored glasses. The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse occurs at noon (PST) on Friday, in the dreamy, magical sign of Pisces. Full moons represent a time of heightened feelings, and this is especially so with sensitive, emotionally dramatic Pisces. Libra Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse Today!

The eclipse season continues on March 23rd with the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Libra. This eclipse is the culmination of energy birthed with the Solar Eclipse/New Moon in Pisces on March 8th. Have you been feeling the intense vibrations? It’s an understatement to say the last few weeks have been an extreme period, with many experiencing shake-ups and shake-downs in life areas that need to change and evolve. The Solar Eclipse asked us to see life from a new perspective, and this a great time to review what you’ve learned and what’s become more real to you.

The Lunar Eclipse is in the sign of Libra, illuminating the realm of relationships. It could be said that relationships are a mirror to your soul, your truest self, and now is a time look deeply into that mirror. This moon/eclipse invites you to the timeless relationship dance--knowing when to give, and when to receive; knowing when to push, and when to step back. Outer masks are being stripped away to see a clearer sense of self.
